50,000feet is proud to announce the annual underwriting of two scholarships in partnership with Chicago Public Schools and the Design Museum of Chicago. Made on behalf of 50,000feet’s staff and clients, both of these contributions will support students and their families with financial resources to pursue their passion for the arts.
The scholarships are intended to promote creativity and appreciation of the arts with students at critical points in their lives and encourage essential skills in communication, problem-solving and self expression.
A committee from 50,000feet selected each scholarship recipient based on their respective demonstration of excellence in the Advanced Arts Program. We are proud to announce the following recipients and are excited to see where their artistic talent takes them next.
- 2021 High School Scholarship Winner: Patricia Belle Gochico, “The Collectivist American”
- 2021 Elementary School Scholarship Winner: Keevionte Mohomes, “SEA OF BLUE”

About All-City Visual Arts Exhibition
Each year, the All-City Visual Arts Exhibition offers scholarships for Chicago’s public elementary and high school students. These unrestricted scholarships support students’ ongoing pursuit of creativity, whether it be in purchasing supplies, taking classes or other applications.
In partnership with the Design Museum of Chicago, the Chicago Public Schools Department of Arts Education hosts the annual All-City Elementary and High School Visual Arts Exhibition, providing a unique opportunity to showcase student achievement in visual and media arts and exhibit their work on their website as, because of the pandemic, the exhibit cannot be in person. Artwork is submitted by parents, art teachers and students, and juried by a committee of teachers, administrators and Design Museum staff.
