The American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA) 365: AIGA Year in Design competition has announced its 2022 winners. 50,000feet Partner and Executive Creative Director Ken Fox served as the competition’s Jury Chair this year, following its return after a 10-year hiatus. In this leadership role, Ken facilitated judging and member collaboration throughout the review process.
This year, AIGA received 466 entries from countries around the world, including the United States, United Kingdom, Hungary, Philippines, Brazil, Canada, Croatia, Italy, Singapore and Turkey. The jurors selected 51 entries that represent excellence and innovation across communication design of both physical and virtual spaces.
“It was inspiring and energizing to facilitate the open and thoughtful discussion of this year’s entries and to participate in the often vigorous debate regarding what work stood apart from other entrants,” Fox said. “As we see the proliferation of communications across channels and experiences, design has the power to impart meaning, inspire action and create impact that helps change the world.”
