Today’s top brands use community building as a marketing tool and experience driver to help build long-term, meaningful relationships with and between customers. The American Marketing Association will offer an interactive session on this topic as part of its Signature Speaker Series, a quarterly program designed to help marketers learn from their peers’ successes. 50,000feet is proud to continue its sponsorship of this series.

This event will offer a perspective on how to build, manage and retain a community and answer why all brands should consider building a community and how a community differs from a customer audience. The discussion will also provide an overview of community-building strategies and trends. Marketers across all industries will gain practical advice on how to get started, pitfalls to avoid and why to consider employing community marketing tactics today.

The panel session will be moderated by Argelia Martinez, Managing Director, Hauswirth/Co, who will be joined by panelists Latane Conant, Chief Market Officer, 6sense; Jeff Osuji, Co-Founder, EventNoire; and Arte Pullins, Chief Revenue Officer, QuestionPro.

AMA’s Signature Speaker Series features leading marketing practitioners from innovative brands and marketing service providers. Designed to provide the tools, insight and inspiration marketers need to take their careers to the next level, the program format ranges from individual speakers to power panels composed of experts from B2B, B2C, startups, nonprofits and Fortune 500 companies tackling the real-world topics that impact marketing professionals.
